Your trip to Jacmel will be an incredible opportunity to build life-long relationships and experience life-changing moments. You, along with our other guests, will bring in the Christmas Season for the children at the Jacmel Children's Village. In addition, there will be opportunities to take an excursion to our local beach and the Bay of Jacmel. There will be opportunities to pour into the local economy with trips to the market, the arts district, souvenir shops and a great dining experience at a local restaurant! Days will end sitting on the porch of the 'Big House'. It is a great time for rest, reflection, and robust conversations about poverty, joy, and how God is at work in Haiti.
REGISTRATION AGE RESTRICTIONS
Individual participants must be 18 years or older to register.
Jacmel does accommodate guests under the age of 18 who are traveling with their families or qualified Guardian/Group Leader.
-For children traveling in a small group or youth group, the minimum age at the time of travel is 15
-For children traveling with their families, the minimum age at the time of travel is 5
Note: Parents or Group Leaders acting as Legal Guardians may “add” guests under the age of 18 to their registration.
Our accommodations include group style rooms only. The registration link is for all guests who are willing to be housed in group bunk spaces, which are separated by gender. All accommodations include bunkbed sleeping, clean bedding, and group bathrooms. If you are registering a small group or a family and are willing to be divided into our male and female group rooms, feel free to register yourself and your guests and/or family members.
Your tax-deductible trip fee includes round-trip airfare from South Florida, and all-inclusive meals, lodging, recreation, and guided exploration of Haiti. The Trip Cost listed above does NOT include airfare to and from your local airport to Ft. Lauderdale.
DEPOSIT & PAYMENT SCHEDULE
At the completion of your registration you will be submitting a non-refundable/non-transferable hold deposit of $100 per person.
Your payment deadlines are as follows:
Hold deposit ($150 per person traveling) - due upon registration
Trip deposit ($750 per person traveling) - August 15th, 2017
Final Payment ($750 per person traveling) - October 14th, 2017
